GENERAL JOB DUTIES

  • Serve as the marketing and public relations face for the daily operation of Kreider Services.
  • Develop marketing messages for targeted external and internal audience members while maintaining a consistent and strong social media presence.
  • Proactively analyze marketing needs; and develop and implement marketing and public relations strategies and campaigns.

 

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES

  • Develop, organize, and implement marketing plans for Kreider Services and divisions that links Kreider's identity, mission and values in communication and outreach; through campaigns, marketing and advertising strategies, and promotional presentation.
  • Maintain and enhance as needed the image of Kreider Services and associated divisions.
  • Monitor ROI and effectiveness of campaign and promotional plans.
  • Frequently attend community events, meetings and socials to promote Kreider Service's by introducing services, mission and values.
  • Manage all aspects of volunteer committees and volunteer coordination including but not limited to staffing, recruitment, supervision, training, acknowledgment, and ensuring regulatory requirements have been met.
  • Planning, implementation and follow-up for all special events and annual receptions.
  • Attends Kreider events as directed by Supervisor.
  • Cultivate and expand sponsorship development for events and individual programs.
  • Develop newsletter and annual report documents for key stakeholders of the agency.
  • Write, submit and follow-up to ensure placement of media releases and stories.
  • Adept with keeping the agency's social media and technologies "fresh" with material and content.
  • Work with the Project Manager to ensure continuity of advertising and information on the Company's website and social media.
  • Serves as a Coordinator for the Kreider Alliance through the direction of the Board President.
  • Provide marketing consultation and assistance to the Kreider Alliance and committees when requested.
  • Organizes and arranges the Kreider Alliance meetings. Prepares the agenda to be distributed prior to the meeting and takes minutes during the meeting.
  • Maintain a donor database and keep abreast of current non for profit donation guidelines and rules.
  • Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.
  • Develop and implement fundraising campaigns and events to meet the annual fundraising goal set by the Executive Director.

 

ADDITIONAL JOB DUTIES

  • Organize volunteer committees within Kreider Services to serve at community events organized by other local agencies or groups.
  • Writes thank you notes to donors on a weekly basis.
  • Prepares, writes and distributes the monthly employee newsletter.
  • Attends monthly New Employee Orientation to educate new employees on marketing and promotional efforts.
  • Serves on the Kreider Employee Activity Committee.
  • Order Kreider Wear and maintain effective order process.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's Degree in marketing, business or organizational development.
  • 3-5 years marketing experience preferred, non-profit organization work a plus.
  • Ability to operate under pressure and meet established deadlines.
  • Creative and innovative individual with excellent project management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects at one time.
  • Experience with developing marketing plans with quantifiable metrics.
  • Team player who works to ensure team goals are met or exceeded.
  • Ability to get along with and communicate well with diverse personalities, education levels and backgrounds.
  • Tactful, mature, sound judgment.
  • Resourceful and well organized.
  • Service oriented, but persuasive and assertive sales style.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365, familiarity with Infinity, and comfort with using new products and software.

 

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. 

Must be able to grasp, talk and hear. 

Visual requirements include preparing and analyzing data and figures, computer terminal, extensive reading, or visual inspection.
